Steffi is very skilled at telling 42 to do things for her.
Some people have been asking me whether I’ll be updating more now that I’ve moved back home and am going to school online.
The answer is yes! But not right away. This month I’ve got a lot of preparation to do for those cons in July and August, including a 30-page adaptation of Jack ‘n’ Ye Olde Beanstalk. But sometime in July I’ll be moving up to 2 days a week for sure. Of course you’ll be updated as that goes down!

Gosh darn it, brain. In that last panel there, Winston is positioned where Steffi’s left leg would were it not a robot leg presently detached. I feel that a funny remark ought to be made about that, but I’m drawing blanks. Mayhaps another commenter can fill the void?
Oooh… These little criminals look so inocent. ^^
I don’t know why but seeing steffi with out her leg makes her seem more natural, more teenageish. It could just be me…
@Pikadude
How about, Winston had no firm footing in that last panel?
On another note, great page cube :3
I love the cozy feeling of the rooms
“Friday… That’s… The name of that one song…”
Of course, it’s probably more like Ben’s birthday or some other important event. 7am waking up in the morning, gotta get fresh, gotta get kiwibot. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
Anyways, awesome page, I can see a nice friendship being built here. Keep it up!
FRIDAY IS WHAAAATTT? TT^TT
@Pikadude No. 1
How ’bout “By sitting on Steffi’s lap, Winston thought he was getting a leg up.”
(…Unfortunately, the opposite was true.)
Ben’s birthday was my thought, too. Something she had to remind herself she wasn’t supposed to care about.
…I’m wondering…Is there any reason why Steffi removed her prosthesis? I would think it would feel like a natural limb after the time she had it. I realize it probably took a beating after the spills she took in the Kiwibot,and after climbing up to Chandra’s window,but…I think it would’ve been made of tougher stuff.
On topic,however,amazing page. Winston,you goofy thing,you! Amazing expression for all! Even Winston!
Yay! More comic! This is one of the only two webcomics I follow. (the other being Sandra and Woo, also featuring a “raccoon” and is actually made in Germany.
Winston is so… cute! I can barely stand it!
What’s on Friday? O: Also, I love Steffi’s hand in the sixth panel! :’D
Steffi is freakin’ adorable in this one. Also, Winston Churchhill FTW! …Too bad he’s against the Daleks, or else I could like him more.

Well, the concept of prosthetic limbs means they require maintenance to avoid degradation of the mechanical parts. Normally, before sleep, conceptually they would be taken off. I don’t remember the exact reasoning behind that. However, the author’s allowed to take that creative direction as they wish.
Steffi’s leg has actually utilizes electric power so she can do things like wiggle the toes. Therefore it needs to be charged on occasion.
(The More you Know)
haven’t been following the comic, I think the feet in panel 5 are upside-down D:
Sixth panel: Good evening Mr. Bond.
Steffi only got one leg, so she can’t kick it!
(I know, I hate myself for that one)
So Steffi is ditching Ben’s birthday (guessing) to go out with her new girlfriend… does anybody else wanna get on this ship before it sails?
Chandra’s so cyooooot and I want a Winston plushie, one with him making that face in the last panel x3
This page is so FULL of fuzzy adorableness-nesnesneszszszs
Its like they’re sisters, partners in crime.
)
I’m guessing it’s something to do with Ben, too, since the whole spat thing they had. And the expression she makes then frame that doesn’t show her face when she says Friday is an ok day to do stuff. If it does have something to do with him then I hope either Steffi decides that Friday isn’t a good day
(doubt it)or that Ben would kind of understand that she’s still upset and let her off easy, or maybe they apologise and do their best friend stuff again because it’s sad to see Steffi get glum like that.Ooo, more updates coming up? Neat! But more importantly let’s all hope Cube has fun at the cons, gathers more friends and fans, and that she is safe on her journey.
Fist time reader here ^^ I absolutely LOVE this comic :3 I read all of the updates in one sitting o_o’ heh…but I can’t wait for more updates
Still very impressive. I really wanting to see much deeper into her story actually, hiding her other life from people close to her but I do still have a feeling soon she’ll be revealing everything to her friends. As much as same as other stories.
OMG I WANT A BUNNY THING LIKE THAT!!!!
BUNNY @__@
@Hfar Lol, it does seem like that XD Cube, you should make a spinoff comic about Winston.
@Riddle78 From what I understand, it can also be pretty painful to wear a prosthesis all the time. I imagine that in the near-future they’ve improved ‘em so much that it becomes a minor discomfort, but still–your leg stump pushing down on that metal thing might hurt after a while.
Also, even if not painful, I imagine it’s kind of like taking off your shoes or something–just kind of comfy/freeing sometimes.
I really want a Winston now :/
Minor quibble — the spelling is scheisse, with a “c”.
Woops, surprised nobody called that typo out earlier! Got it fixed.
