Oh man. I’m already in love with 42, she’s just so adorable.
(And Heinrich in fifth panel. “This is my house”. I don’t know, there’s just something about how it’s said that makes me chuckle uncontrollably. He’s adorable in his own way too. <3)
Okay you know what this ENTIRE page just wins. I was going to talk about the last panel but then I realized I'd be talking about everything basically…
Things just keep getting more and more exciting! I can't wait to see what happens (as generic as that sounds, but it's completely true. I swear I'm so hooked, it isn't even funny.)
I have just enough Japanese to translate panel 3. “Excuse me, where am I?”
This has probably been raised before (I’ve read the comics, not all the comments) but: We have yet to see Steffi without headphones on – even in bed (03-03) she has something on (maybe clip-on hearing aid?) And the only times we’ve got to see her without gloves are in the taichi flashback (04-06 to 04-08) (plus some of the ‘gallery’ images have her with fingerless gloves.)
I speculate that whatever did for her leg did something to her ears and hands too.

It looks like theres an extra tail on Steffi’s first word bubble.
I wouldn’t point it out but it makes it look like someone off-panel is agreeing with her, which I find very funny.

I’m afraid I must disprove your theory, in Law of Talos we were told that she lost her leg during a bank robbery as she was trying to be the hero. a robber blasted her leg off. and I think with the phones she just likes the music… and warm ears
In general, I’d warn against working on the assumption that everything told in LoT is still canonical to the actual comic.

I find that japanese robot vaguely disturbing, in a Ring sort of way. Awesome art though <3
This comic is pretty rad. The art is unspeakably crisp and clean; great characters, too.
