42 would make the best golem.
I guess Steffi’s dad would be a noble or merchant?
naw, he’d be an alchemist for sure
YES!
THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!!!!!
nah, Steffi’s dad would be Belle’s dad from Beauty and the Beast.
….would that make Gear Gaston?
Maybe an artificer, if we’re talking specifically D&D. Don’t think there’s been an alchemist class, but I’m not big on 2e or 4e. Though apparently there’s one in Pathfinder.
Oh gosh these are fantastic! Chandra is adorable as always.
…where did Steffi get a giant kiwi, anyway?
Simple! Her Alchemist Dad gave a normal Kiwi a growth potion so she’d have something to ride!
Pickelhaube FTW
Also, blond Steffi is adorable.
yes magic color changing hair that changes depending on your mood
I’ve always wanted to have that.
Me too! Except other artists would keep making me jealous, so it’d be permanently green…
Yep. Just riding a giant kiwi. And being the best knight ever. Just keep it up, Steff.
“Chandra steals things 4ever” = life motto
Steffi is best KiwiKnight.
pics of golem 42 plz?
in your next bonus nonsense, can you make them in a pirate setting? just so we can see steffi with a peg leg and gear with a cutlass for a hand?
These are all sensible choices. However, your party is missing a cleric.
A background role in which you work hard and sensibly only to be overshadowed by the rest of the group’s showy antics? Sounds like Employee Lady to me!
Or, you know, Reed.
Please, no cleric would’ve gone after a (insert Gear’s class here) single-handed.
… Er. Oh dear, didn’t even see that at first. … Sorry, Reed.
Psh. Never played a high level cleric, I take it? You begin to wonder they even bother with the whole prayer things after awhile, considering that they themselves are god-like.
@Kaoy: It doesn’t matter that high-level clerics are beasts in combat, even on their own. D&D is a team game, so you need to think about the needs of your team first and foremost. Separating yourself from the rest of the group is just begging to get your teammates jumped by monsters that require your expertise to beat. That goes double for the healer-type classes, since every fight is going to result in someone needing healing. You may not need your team, but your team needs you.
having a good cleric can be the difference between winning and losing, it’s importance is far greater than a tank or a damage dealer. the trouble is very few people care enough about the team to give up the massive kill streak for some paltry healing powers.
Sounds a bit like the set up of The Song of the Lioness quartet & Protector of the Small.
Oh man I totally read the Lioness books in middle school.
Though I completely forgot everything that happened in them by now D:
But I remember that they were cool (at the time)
Cool! Another Tamora Pierce fan! Which is your favorite?
P.S. Bleh! Meant to post that other comment here.
Probably Protector of the Small.
Terrier. Cant go wrong with a strong female protagonist with a talking cat!
I’ll bet it’s hard to fight evil when your cybernetic limb was made by a blacksmith.
Chandra the Rogue: Cutting purses and stealing hearts.
Ben will kick your ass with books!
Cool! Another Tamora Pierce fan! Which is your favorite?
does ben have a fireball spell? if not, he’s a pretty lame mage.
She’s got a chicken to ride, and she don’t care.
Warrior, Mage, Thief! The common trio. Now make them quest!

Please don’t be a flesh golem.
Please don’t be a flesh golem.
Please don’t be a flesh golem.
Please don’t be a flesh golem.
Please don’t be a flesh golem.
On that note, since I’m a big 3E fan, I think 42 would make a pretty cool Inevitable. Giant robot on a mission, hanging out with these lousy mortals because they can be useful at times.
And once again Kiwi-bot/steed is unsuitable for fighting from, considering its firepower. (Lances don’t work unless the rider has stirrups or is otherwise unable to easily dismount)
How much more of these are coming?
I’d like to see how you picture the characters in a studio Ghibli setting
o.o
Behold! Ser Steffi Frohlich! This is actually pretty damn awesome. And Steffi’s armour makes sense, too. That’s a bonus in my book. What kind of golem is 42? Iron? Clay? Flesh?
I’m glad I’m not the only one to approve of the fact that Steffi’s armour actually looks like some reasonable half-plate. The tabard is a nice addition.
Also, I squee’d when I saw this. No, really.
Strange minds think alike?
She’s a robot, so she’d obviously be an iron golem.
Not iron. Mithril Warforged. The class though is totally a tossup…
lordy, I would read the hell out of this
“a mission to kick enough evil ass to be deemed a knight despite being a girl” LOVE IT
The irony being that most D&D campaigns are pretty gender-neutral anyway.
Which could actually lead to some amusing moments, with Steffi trying to prove herself “despite being a girl” but no one actually cares.
42 would be a warforged, since they are basically robots to begin with.
I’m from 3rd Edition and what is this.
See Eberron campain setting.
http://eberron.wikia.com/wiki/Warforged
Possibly a class of Beguiler?
http://eberron.wikia.com/wiki/Beguiler
Warforged are from the Eberron setting which which used 3.5 rules iirc.
They’re considered constructs though they don’t have all the perks and flaws usually associated with them.
Ben could have been a monk as well.
I really wanna see 42 as a Warforged now. o-o
Between chapter? Shouldn’t it be between track?
This page is the best thing! Besides lots of other pages. Yeah.
It’s past my normal bedtime so that didn’t make sense.
Best page.
Chandra just have my playing style: PICKPOCKETS AWAY!
