Blah blah blah comics
Wait, is Gear chasing KB or can Gear run so fast that she went around the building to get behind KB?
@Shaows I believe Blitz is attempting to lure Gear away like Reed asked.
Nice page, as always, and it’s nice to see some action starting up. However, I think the pacing would be better if that last speech bubble was elsewhere though… I imagine it’s meant to come after the beak scraaaaaapes, but for me the flow seems to go speech bubble, then scrape, which seems off. I think it would work better further down, maybe between the frames, but that’s just my opinion. Unless you were aiming at it coming before the beak scrape, in which case, please ignore me.
This is the first action page where I’m not quite sure what’s going on. How’d Kiwibot get BACK in front of Gear? To be fair, I am very bad at following action sequence in comics. >.>
Might be the reason why I read so much shoujo manga.
“What the hell is that sword made out of?!”
Unobtainium. Or adamantium. Or vibranium. Or orichalcum. Or dreamstone. Or starmetal. Or sunstone. Or…um…well damn, my nerd reference pool seems to have dried up.
Absolutely love the first panel, Gear’s pose is so badass. : D
Eh, it just a sidewalk. No one cares about those anyway.
@Aerix: Mithril or durasteel? Although the latter may be a bit more media specific than what you’re looking for.
Side note: Seriously, why hasn’t anyone added ‘Absurdly Sharp Blade’ to KBs growing list of tropes?
@Hfar: Gah, how could I have forgotten about mithril? I must be slipping. *puts on slightly larger glasses* As long as I’m here, I also forgot to mention the possibility of wonderflonium, or phlebotnium, or dragonite, or chroma digizoid, or gundanium…
@Aerix: I see what you did there. -_-
Also @Aerix: Or elementium, or titansteel…
Once again @Aerix: How ’bout atmospherium?

I was thinking about the fact that houndour and houndoom don’t particularly resemble hounds.
Then this happened.
