I just finished Digimon Tamers.
There was absolutely no reason for it to be a good show.
But it was an amazing show.
Chiaki Konaka is my hero.
Had to draw Antylamon and Xiaochun ‘cause the whole ep where they met was so perfect.

I’m probably the only one, but Natrix totally reminds me of Greed from FMA.

Well, he looks like a Star Trek rubber-forehead alien to me… it seems that cosmetic surgery hasn’t advanced as far as bionics or robotics. Picked the wrong fandom, Natrix my son, you should have become a Singularitarian instead!
He actually does remind me of greed

Look carefully. He is slithering across the desk literally. Panel 3 you can see bull, panel 4 you can not. Could this be… an animal attraction?
I just thought that was because his aura was sucking them into closed space, or something equally anime.
I’m conflicted, if his job is really surgery type stuff then that’d be an important thing to know but it’s also a really creepy thing to ask and in a really creepy way.
It’s the grin. The grin makes it creepy as hell.

You can’t be thinking of already starting something -not with bull man around..
My guess is that taking off his glove to remove his mask is precisely what Ben is doing. I can imagine him saying “You can see my face. That should be enough. You’ve guessed that my friend here is just a kid, so you know she’s not a cop”or something like that.
Starting something with bull man around would be too risky, and Ben is probably too sensible to do that.
Hopefully we should know soon, though.
Okay, I’ll admit it, I was wrong. Ben is more sensible than Steffi, but on this occasion awesome trumps sensible.
I suppose your idea would be what he would have in mind if he didn’t have that ace up his sleeve.

Why? When you’re a criminal, the last thing ou want is to work with people who are hiding behind masks. Plus I didn’t get the impression he was being hostile. Also, there’s hardly any harm in inquiring as to their age.
Me: who knows, this guy might still be not all that bad.

Cube, I think “discreet” is the right word for that context. I’m fairly sure that “discretionary” means something else – though I may be wrong.

I don’t think Natrix has legs. I think his torso just continues into a snake-tail that he stands on.

You see what looks like legs. Steffi has one leg, and appears normal too.

I still don’t see him being that creepy, in all honesty. Criminal or not, his expression seems more friendly than conniving.
My first thought at panel 4 was “Stranger danger! Stranger danger! Stranger danger!”. He seems way too friendly.
