Now now, we all need to swimmer down a bait. Fighting only whelkomes hurt reelings. Boat I think we shelled turn over a new reef: That is to sea, forget out differences and get apond.
255 is the largest number on a 8-bit integer. (And that’s an unsigned. With signed variables, you can go from -128 to 127.) This is page 256, so you’re not 8-bit. The next milestone is page 65536.
…it suddenly strikes me that maybe because of these Alter people, maybe Chandra /can’t/ sleep, or at least… doesn’t need to, for very long. It’d make her life of crime a lot easier that way.
What does a female Brookyn accent sound like anyway? A gir Ramones cover band or something?
Also, Steffi doesn’t sleep with her leg attached? Its probably recharging though. I thought she would have slept with it on. Kind of like going to sleep with your contacts in.
That would only happen if the bone was being thrown at the Alter-creep; however, I think Chandra is trying to reward Steffi’s dogged determination to be a crimefighter.
Aw, man! It takes me far longer than it should to translate accents into proper english so I can understand it and after that I don’t get the benefits anyway. I know, I know, I’m doing it wrong.
No, this is a webcomic from the American continent and as such the creepiest accent he could have would be a deep British one. We’re always villainous over there.
But then a Cockney accent represents a good guy, and a Russian one is a thug working for the man with the deep British accent. Oh and you never know which side the guy with the Irish accent is on. (unless its Roy from IT)
Hmm, Steffi seems to be counting a lot on their recent friendship being stronger than Chandra’s ties/friendship with anyone else in this organization, who she has been involved with much longer.
Kids can be a little too trusting sometimes. Still, if the past few pages are any guide, Chandra’s infatuation with Steffi at an age when humans are at their ficklest, will likely ensure her cooperation for at least a little while.
Maybe later I’ll look up what a “Brooklyn Accent” sounds like.
… Or listen up… or something.
American accents mostly sound the same to me though… or rather I can vaguely differentiate between east, south and west… and that is about it. Fact is, for a country that big, it quite simply doesn’t have the same concentrated language differentiation that the UK does. Ain’t had the time for it…
that fish is evil it is a spy for the evil furry crime gang
Are you trying to say that there’s…”something fishy”…going on? :O
Nah, it’s probably just a red herring.
Did you guys just say all those fish puns for the halibut?
Scale it back a little, guys.
Now, now – no need to whale about it, Bucc-i…
I’m just glad we’re all in tuna on the puns. But let’s keep it in scale, we don’t want to have too much fin with it.
Sorry, I shouldn’t try to bait you like that, but I love lure-ing in people with the puns. It’s reel fun.
Great cod almighty this is getting reel ridiculous
I’m feeling a bit eel. Too many puns, I think.
No need to act koi. Fish up and admit our punnery~
Now now, we all need to swimmer down a bait. Fighting only whelkomes hurt reelings. Boat I think we shelled turn over a new reef: That is to sea, forget out differences and get apond.
Is it just me or is it cod that Raccoon has a fish clock at her plaice?
On the other hand, Steffi really wants that info. Fell for it hook, line and sinker.
Wowee if you ever see me in my Raccoon cosplay again you can bet I’m gonna use a terrible Brooklyn accent everywhere that’s hilarious
And then Delta could only hear her as a tiny, female Scout. Which makes sense, considering.
But the Scout is a Bostoner. :O
Which makes the Brooklyn-esque accent make even less sense.
Well, we know Kiwi Blitz isn’t a single 8-bit value now.
wait what D:

No, Kiwi Blitz is 16 bit with Blast Processing™.
Well, actually, There wasn’t a page zero, so it hasn’t broken the 8-bit barrier yet.
And then Delta remembered Scout is from Boston and she was a tiny, female Abridged Joey
“We decided on Tumblr that Chandra has a Brooklyn accent.”
But does she have rage?
Well she does have a raccoon suit so it is a step in the right direction. Now if we only knew if she played children’s card games…
…it suddenly strikes me that maybe because of these Alter people, maybe Chandra /can’t/ sleep, or at least… doesn’t need to, for very long. It’d make her life of crime a lot easier that way.
Chandra continues to be best pon- I mean character.
Also, adoraaable in that penultimate panel! ♥

Oh boy, A Fruity Loops shirt? never would have expected that, you sure like your music don’t you
So are fire escapes less terrifying in the future, or is Chandra just living on the edge?
Gotta have somewhere to hang out, I suppose.
Probably wants to be out of earshot of her parents and/or her clock radio.
Since Chandra is throwing Steffie a bone is this creepy member of Alter a dog furry?
That would only happen if the bone was being thrown at the Alter-creep; however, I think Chandra is trying to reward Steffi’s dogged determination to be a crimefighter.
Brooklyn accent, eh?
Ya gonna rewrite all her former speech bubbles now?
pfft XD
Aw, man! It takes me far longer than it should to translate accents into proper english so I can understand it and after that I don’t get the benefits anyway. I know, I know, I’m doing it wrong.
for some reason, I really want to know why this guy is super creepy. maybe just getting excited to see a new character.
He’s super creepy because he talks in a Jersey accent. Can’t be havin’ that in aw’ur town, y’hea?
No, this is a webcomic from the American continent and as such the creepiest accent he could have would be a deep British one. We’re always villainous over there.

And so the plot thickens. I put my money on the idea that hes a violent psychopath!
Heh, fitting. Those accents tend to be a bit undetectable anyway. XD

I wonder… Could MR. WeirdAlter be DR. Hardane?
NYEHHH!!!
