I’m telling you, Reed; collapsible riot shield, taser, and enhanced grip/forearm strength that you can turn off and on at will. It’s the best things for a cop to have!
And finally, some sense-talkings! Pretending-to-be-real prothesises look hideous and frightening. But silver shiny ones look nice and appealing and robotic!
I could never stand to have a prothesis (beyond my glasses, I mean). It would just make me feel depressed that I can’t be a full robot.
250 Comics? What nonsense is this about Pokémon? There were always 251, Celebi was just hiding! (*Got into Pokémon about 2 years before Gold/Silver came out.*)
I don’t understand. Why would someone in need of a new limb NOT want to go the full Inspector Gadget route? I know if I ever need a new arm, I’mma demand it have AT LEAST a cell phone, a laser pointer, and a key ring in it. Wait, scratch the keyring. I can install some wireless locks while I’m at it, then just wave my palm at them.
because losing a limb is traumatic experience and at first you may just want to feel normal.
after some time you may start looking into the weirder limbs out there.
Take a look at some of the limbless track athletes and you will find that at first some of them were less enthusiastic about their replacements.
It’s be cool to see him with some wicked awesome weapom but… I also will respect his choice to stay ‘normal’. It’s a pretty hard decision.. will he listen to the lady or stick with what he wanted?
“You’ll just be disappointed if you try to make it like you never lost your arm. I like to think of artificial limbs as a kind of upgrade, rather than a poor substitute.”
Totally agree, if we ever get far with cybernetic in my life time, totally am getting my right arm (from fingertip to the inside of my shoulder blade) and my eye…. possible my left ear (due to a head injury my left ear isn’t as good). i don;t care what people say, totally want to be a cyborg
I missed a few comics, but I have to say, I’m kinda happy to see Steffi flashing her cyber-leg. As a wearer of prosthetics, myself, it’s a little thrill to see someone similar in comics.
“Also the foot compartment pops open and there’s some treats for Winston!”
“idiot, why do you always do that *tsundere-blush*”
last panel hmmmm. what will Reed decide? O:
Could see doctor be teamed up with gear?
I mean she kinda says something similar to what zee doc just did…
i think that’s why the last panel showed reed remembering gear saying that
That’s what I was thinking too….
I hope that’s not zee case….
I like this doctor…
Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking too…
I hope that isn’t zee case though…
I like this doctor!
Just because he might be her doctor doesnt necisarily make them a team.
*zee doctor
C’mon Reed! If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em!
So that’s what her foot looks like.
And as we all know Steffi is one of the city’s most upstanding, law-abiding citizens.
I’m surprised her leg doesn’t have racing stripes the color of her hair or some other crazy design bit.

She looks like Fox McCloud when we see her full metal leg.
That comment is a spy!

uhhh, Mew anyone? 251 were available from Gen 1, no need to wait around for celebi to come out.
I don’t know about the cyber doc, But there seems to have been another doctor working on her shoes – they’re bigger on the inside than the outside!
So when are the Daleks showing up?
dang mistyped email and lost avatar

I know Right!

It’s not that bad. I’d rather lose my leg than my computer. Talk about traumatic! But if I did lose it I’d want a better one.
Personally I think the best option is a modular one, so he can use it as a normal arm now, but swap in a chainsaw if he ever changes his mind.
What would Ben say? Why, he’d say nothing and pull out everyone’s favourite grumpy face, of course.

He needs upgrades that can stand up to Gear.
Steffi, why you peer pressuring Reed?
can she wriggle her prosthetic toes?
I should think so.
They had to put that nerve thing in place first so that the harm/leg/whatever else could work.
Steffi show’n off the merchandise. Ben gonna be jelly.

Wise and pragmatic. I like that.

How much original leg does she have?
Just realized, when he talks about artifical limbs being upgrades, does he mean… Oh crap, the Cybermen are moving in.
kinda suprised stef dosen’t have a pop out motorized roller blade on that sucker
