The hand itself needs port-connectivity to whatever computer stuff they’ve got in the future, so as he can just think commands via the arm into the computer rather than typing.
Being a cop, he’ll probably want some sort of a torch in there… and microsensitivity feedback so he can feel miniscule changes in air pressure and such… complete with a visual read-out on the wrist for things like chemical composition of stuff he is touching, etc.

Oh yeah… and that fancy non-permanent, somehow-non-devastating EMP tech built into knuckle-spikes… because if they can make a sword that EMPs without destroying its robot wielder then I figure building it into a robot arm shouldn’t be too tough.

But the most important thing would be an elbow-blade.
