See? I knew she wasn’t offline.
I love the little effect you put on the last panel, showing us broken-42-vision with the little boxes pixelating everything. Unless that was a total accident, it’s a nice touch!

Wait what. I clicked “Post Comment” ONCE. Why did it post twice? Oh, whatever. I’m on a bus traveling down an interstate highway, I can’t expect the ‘net to work properly.
Killjoy warning:
For those wondering about the bars in the last panel; is there not a chance there’s some residual current activity on the ground right where the magic electronic robot-killing sword blade ‘SHK’d just a second ago?
No, no no guys. It’s the stabbidy-death-mark that the sword left. It’s still electrifying the ground, and since both robots were made by Ishinomori, they both have a weak spot there. 42 knew that four meters was enough to escape her “sister’s” reach and to get her to step in the wrong spot. Especially since 35′s an older model, and clearly doesn’t have as “intelligent” an AI.
Also, now that I’ve totally made myself look like a spoiler-troll, I gotta say, I LOVE the first two panels. The illusion of motion is really beautiful there–I can just feel that flow and the recoil when she catches the sword in her hand. Gorgeous panel follow-through.
Awesome 42!!!
Do a b-
…
Dang it.
Oh, I see some distortion in that last panel.
IT’S A TRAP!!
Darnit, I was going to say that…
Although looking at the last panel… It’s a trap!
(Excellent work as always!)
Ah, shorted spinal column…. I wonder if she can still move her severed arm…
Think the slash on 42′s back is missing on the fifth panel, but other than that, I’m loving the suspense in this whole scene, keep it up!
Oddly specific.
Oh the suspense!

aha perfect! 42 is such a badass. “Well I can’t walk, but I can roll my broken and battered body”
O.O
go 42!!!
^.^
(is it next Wednesday yet?)
@Bonnie Sadly not.
Because 4 meters will actually get her somewhere. Riiight.
Go 42!! You can do it!!
42′s got this! She knows what she’s doing, trap has been set, bait has been taken XD
Yes! Roll your way to victory 42!
Also, what the hey is up with those bars in the last panel?
… Yeowza. XD It is adorable to watch her roll like that.

that little glitchy area in the last panel got me suspicious.
I think four meters is more than enough for someone like 42. Heh.
@everyone Four meters is enough to lead 35 into the hologram trap.
…that is a hologram trap in the last panel, right? Not just compression artifacts? Okay good.
I hope 39 shows up and saves the day or something cause I do not want to see robo death
42 is so straightforwardly honest it’s unbearably cute.
Do a… Dagnabbit!
The last page had me worried but this one made me laugh.
Good job as always on the sudden and welcome emotion shifts, Cube!
It’s a sushi roll! Well, a maki roll.
You can even order by numbers here! 42, 35..
got to give it to her, that was a badass response
Don’t sell yourself short, 42, I think you could roll at least 4.16 meters before you get caught!
and i hope you don’t mind, but this guy’s so cute, i decided to use him as a gravatar.
If you just expected her to roll over and accept her fate…… the you were half right.
@Tarcival
You do realize Racoon’s a female, right…?
@Edd
You just made my day with that comment XDD
they see me rolling…

I love the ultra-literal response. The robots are programmed to use sarcasm but not to recognize it.
this is what my cat does……..
roll roll
@psiberkiwi
hmm, well i haven’t read the part that says that in a while, so i forgot it.
Wow, this comic looks amazing, I’ll have to check more of it out soon, great characters and colors!
Totally saw that last panel coming, pun unintended.
